Chennai Metro Bus offers free travel Travel / Pass Tokens to physically challenged and mentally Retarded

To be recommended by District Rehabilitation Officer
Disability of Physically Challenged Commuter should be more than 40%
Physically Challenged Commuter is Allowed to travel Point-to-Point
Free Travel is applicable from the residence to hospital or Educational Institutions or Work place within a maximum distance of 30 Km
One attendant is allowed to travel with mentally retarded person, who can travel free
Issued by Original MTC Bus pass to be produced while on travelling as well as checking

If you met the above Eligibility, you can apply for the Free Bus Pass in any of the Metro Bus Transport Corporation bus depot issues Bus Pass
Visit the Nearest Transport Bus Depot
Download / Collect the Free Bus Pass Application from the Office
Fill the Name and Address details of physically challenged / mentally Retarded Person
Attach Recent Passport Size Photograph of physically challenged / mentally Retarded Person
copy of ration card / Aadhaar Card / Voter Id should be attached.
Upon Verification, Free Bus Pass will be issued, Which will be valid for Limited Period. later should be Renewed
